Taylor Swift is a top American Pop Singer. You really seem to be on an upswing—so why ruin it by changing a major part of your trademark look? The curls gave you that innocent look that was probably more appealing to your mostly young audience.

Before anyone gets in a tizzy, there are some theories out there that her hair was only straightened for a photo shoot this week. But she did rock the new look while out hanging out with friends as well. Perhaps the ‘do is part of a coming-of-age thing. I mean she is turning 20 this Sunday, and may be trying to shed the whole innocence bit.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether or not she’s sporting those Venus-like locks the next time she emerges…

Let’s all agree on something, though: you can’t even think about Taylor Swift without picturing Kanye West jumping on stage with her. I can’t even get half way through her first name without making the association—so why try?

What I’m getting at is this: would we be talking about something as mundane as her hair if it wasn’t for the VMA’s incident? Sure, sure. She’s talented, sold tons of records, and done wonders for crossover country—I get it. But let’s be real.

 
 
In my humble opinion, she and Mr. West ought to do a collabo. Now that would be news—especially if the song had something to do with pride or personal triumph. It might be just what she needs to get rid of the bubble-gum pop image, and just what Kanye needs to get both feet back on the ground again.

At the end of the evening the Big B had 24 shawls to bring back from Chennai. A burden he was ill prepared for, considering he had gone with only a day’s baggage to Chennai.When asked what he would do with the massive haul of 24 shawls the Big B replied, “I’ll give them away to the needy.”But the shawls were least of the Big B’s burdens in Chennai . Extreme exhaustion finally caught up with him when he dozed off in his hotel before the felicitation ceremony and woke up thoroughly disoriented, not knowing where he was.Director Balki who was with the Big B says, “He was fine. He finally had some sleep. You’ve to understand that this is no ordinary human being. Amit ji is a miracle. He can continue working non-stop without sleep.

Last week he was running around getting the premiere in place. Then on Friday morning he left to shoot for Bigg Boss without any sleep after the premiere. After shooting the entire day in Lonavla he attended the Bombay Times party and then on Saturday early morning he left for Chennai. At an age when a lot of us will be in a rocking chair he is still rocking.”Rocking is all very fine. But those close to the Big B feel he is again overdoing his work schedules and needs to slow down, fast.Says a person very close to the Big B, “After two major health scares recently Amit ji has refused to slacken his pace. Fossils of a small carnivorous dinosaur unearthed in New Mexico back up the idea that all dinosaurs originated in what is now South America, evolved quickly and then dispersed from their homeland.

The newly described species, a theropod dinosaur dubbed Tawa hallae, lived about 213 million years ago, says Sterling J. Nesbitt, a paleontologist at the University of Texas at Austin. A complete and exceptionally preserved skeleton of a juvenile indicates that the creature had a body roughly the size of a Labrador retriever, would have stood about 70 centimeters tall at the hip, and measured about 2 meters long, the researchers report in the Dec. 11 Science. Adults may have been about 4 meters long.


 

Scientists have long debated whether Herrerasaurus, a creature that lived in what is now South America about 230 million years ago, was a member of the theropod group, which includes T. rex, says Nesbitt. Because the new species is clearly a theropod and shares many traits with Herrerasaurus, he notes, “Tawa pulls Herrerasaurus into the theropod lineage.”

Added to previous fossil discoveries, the new finding indicates that the progenitors of all three dinosaur lineages — theropods, sauropods and ornithischians (the group that includes Triceratops) — originated in the portion of the supercontinent Pangaea that is now South America some time before 230 million years ago. From there, says Nesbitt, dinosaurs diversified and spread to dominate terrestrial ecosystems for more than 165 million years.

Today we share Roket singh movie review. Roket singh is new movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, in this movie he plays a role of salesman. Very touching light hearted movie which shows of he life of those individuals who scores average marks when they are students and after completion of studies they enter into sales filed after all tries of getting better job.

This is a tough story to tell and sell. Director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahani, who earlier collaborated on the excellent Chak De, are working here without any of the highs and lows of that film. The drama here is more restrained. The obstacles seem more ordinary. The characters are wholly believable.  Starting with the titles, Shimit and Jaideep create wonderful little details - so Harpreet's grandfather, played nicely by Prem Chopra, rattles off a check list before Harpreet goes for a job interview, which includes the question: motion clear hua.

A street side tea stall becomes the conference room of the fledgling company and even the telephone on Harpreet's desk has just the right amount of grime. But the trouble with Rocket Singh is that it never engages you fully. The first half is especially slow but even in the second, the film doesn't grab you by the gut. 

There are long stretches in which the restrained story-telling becomes indulgent and topples over into sheer boredom. And there are several moments at which you wonder if this is more information about salesmen and their difficult lives than you ever needed. Finally then, it is up to Ranbir to carry Rocket Singh over its limitations and he rises to the challenge exceedingly well. The movie is produced by Yash Raj banner and directed by Shimit Amin and Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sharon Prabhakar, Shazahm Padamse, Prem Chopra and Gauhar Khan

Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has been appointed as judge for the 59th Miss World 2009 pageant which will be held on Dec 12, 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa. .

Kristen Dalton from North Carolina was crowned as Miss USA 2009, on April 19, 2009. The grand finale of the Miss USA pageant took place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first runner-up of the Miss USA 2009 pageant was Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, of San Diego, and the second runner-up was Miss Arizona USA Alicia-Monique Blanco, of Phoenix.


The remaining contestants in the top five were Miss Utah USA, Laura Kirilova Chukanov and Miss Kentucky USA, Maria Elizabeth Montgomery. The anchors for the Miss USA 2009 finale were Nadine Velazquez the star of ‘My name is Earl’ and Billy Bush of “Access Hollywood.”

The 22-year, blue-eyed Kristen Dalton was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. She comes from a family of pageant winners. Her mother Jeannie Boger was crowned Miss North Carolina USA in 1982. Mumbai News: Katrina Kaif is refusing to part with her favourite car even though top mechanics of the city have asked her to let go of her damaged vehicle by either selling it off or giving it for full body repair. The mechanics have also told her that by riding in the same car she is risking her life. But all this has fallen on deaf ears because Katrina says she is very sentimental to let this car go because it is "one of her first big cars".

A close friend of Katrina reveals: "Katrina is one sentimental girl. Very few know that Katrina is very possessive of her things. She likes to keep all the things that she uses no matter how old they become or how bad their condition gets. Be it her old wardrobe, music CDs, books and knick-knacks.Katrina always loves to hoard her belongings."

The informer adds: "The Audi was one of her first cars and in spite of it being damaged recently, she does not wish to let go of it. The car was badly damaged by some fans of the actress while she was promoting her film.
