Continuing along with her South American adventures, Miley Cyrus was spotted having a blast on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil earlier today (May 12).
The “Party in the USA” gal, mother Tish Cyrus and a few friends danced and frolicked in the sand while snapping up pictures as keepsake mementos.

If the ladies’ fans had anything to do with it then yes, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato would be teaming up for a duet! While nothing is set in stone for Miley and Demi to collaborate on a song together in the future, we can totally see it happening. Especially after “MileyDemiDuet” trended for quite some time on Twitter yesterday.
Currently Miley is busy promoting her music overseas on her Gypsy Heart Tour, while Demi is in the studio recording songs for her upcoming album. Perhaps Miley will lend some vocal help to a track on Demi’s new CD? We’ll keep you posted!
"Miley said she started to sing classic rock at their shows because I always found inspiration in these songs and want to pass it to the fans. "I've always looked up to Joan Jett, so that was my.. proudest moment, when I got to perform with her" she said.
The diva has revealed she was impressed with the affection of fans. On the difference between American and Latin fans: "I think there is definitely a big difference.. I love my American fans but I've never had people sleep outside my hotel for two days and scream as loud as some fans have."
And all this love of the fans won the star: "I think there were a couple shows where I honestly couldn't believe it and I think this show's going to be like that because a lot of people are excited."

Miley Cyrus will launch her new Gypsy Heart Tour on April 27 except not in America because apparently we don’t love her enough. I’m not even joking. FOX 411 reports:
“I just think right now America has gotten to a place where I don’t know if they want me to tour or not. Right now I just want to go to the places where I am getting the most love and Australia and South America have done that for me,” she said. “Kind of going to the places where I get the most love. Don’t want to go anywhere where I don’t feel completely comfortable with it.”
Miley then goes on to say she’s comfortable doing an international tour because things are finally better with her family, but are they really? Considering she comes from a strong southern background, I can’t think of a bigger kick in the mullet for Billy Ray Cyrus than having his daughter shit all over the U.S. of A. only to tour in countries with conveniently lax drinking laws.
BILLY RAY: Wine with supper?! We drank Mountain Dew in this family and that’s final.
MILEY: I’m not a little kid anymore!
BILLY RAY: I don’t care what them fancy laws say, you’s mah property.
MILEY: I hate you! — And I’m going to college!
BILLY RAY: Whoa, whoa. Alright, let’s simma down for a minute. I think we’re both saying things we’s gonna regret. I mean, Jesus, sugah, book larnin’? You tryin’ to give your ol’ pappy a heart attack?

Rounding out a busy week of travel, Miley Cyrus
The always-trendy 18-year-old donned a large brown purse, black leather pants and kept a studded black leather jacket in hand as she traversed through the metro terminal.
When it comes to travelling in style, we have to say Miley Cyrus takes the cake!
The 18-year-old "Can't Be Tamed" singer, wearing sexy black tights, looked beyond excited to be travelling to Chicago to meet with Oprah Winfrey.
X17online exclusively broke the news this morning that Ms. Cyrus would be sitting down with Lady O tomorrow for the final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Can't wait to find out what she'll be singing!

Miley won’t be heading to the ‘land down under’ until June, but the people of Oz are already getting ready for the Gypsy Heart Tour to roll into town, judging from the promo clip over at OceanUp.
Miley recently said on her website,
“The Gypsy Heart tour is a dream come true. Not only because of all the beautiful cities I will get to visit, but all of the beautiful people I will get to meet. Gypsy Heart is not just a tour for me, but a mission to spread love.”
