We were super sad to hear Suite Life on Deck is coming to an end this week, but we can’t help but be excited for Disney’s new shows! We chatted with Debby Ryan about her graduation from Suite Life to Jessie. Check out what she had to say!
Q: What can we expect from the last episode of Suite Life?
Debby: This is a total graduation episode. We’ll be looking back on how much we’ve grown and looking forward to where our characters are going.

Q: How do you plan on keeping in touch with the cast?
Debby: There’s always tons of social networking we do! I text everyone every once in awhile. When someone is that much a part of your life, you can’t get them out!

Q: Are you taking any peices of the set?
Debby: YES! I’m actually taking photos that I put in Bailey’s room. I also have a ton of her outfits — I have the dress she wore the first time she and Cody kissed, her prom dress and the hoodie from when she dressed up as a boy.

Q: Did anyone get emotional while you were filming the last episode?
A: Yeah! There’s a scene where Phil Lewis and Brenda Song hug and say goodbye. They couldn’t even say their lines because they were crying so hard. I looked over and every producer, the director, the writers, everyone was an emotional wreck. We all got silent on set and took a moment to let everything set in. You’ll get to see a lot of real emotion in the episode.

Q: You’re going on to film Jessie. Do you feel like this is your personal graduation?
Debby: I do. I feel like leaving Bailey at graduation and picking up Jessie after graduation when she’s moving to New York City to find herself is very real. It’s a monumental part of life and that’s where I feel like I am today.
