In order to promote the new Walt Disney Pictures movie “The Muppets” a new campaign has been rolled out called “Green With Envy.” The new campaign makes it seem as if a different movie is releasing starring Amy Adams and Jason Segel. In the “Green With Envy” movie trailer that was recently revealed it isn’t until the end of the trailer that you find out the plot that is being promoted is a joke and that the movie is in fact “The Muppets.”
What do you think of this marketing campaign? We find it a bit confusing, but maybe you really like it?
